FANCY A QUICKIE 2? Hits Griffith in September 2011!
Eight of my best plays, a mix of talented actors and theatre professionals, add to that, local actors performing at Griffith Regional Theatre and you have a recipe for success. Just like ‘Fancy a Quickie’ – only this time, it’ll be bigger and better. With the likes of Gerry Sont, Clare Martin, Tanya Ann Powell and William Russell and local cast of 20 actors, it’s going to be a show not to be missed.
The Griffith Community has been so supportive and keep checking back here to see who the sponsors are! Without sponsors, cast and crew, FAQ2 would not be possible.
The plays: NORMALITY, AMICABLE RIVALS, CATASTROPHE, SILENCE, HONEY, ONLINE OFFSIDE, HAPPILY EVER AFTER AND HUMAN NATURE.
Where have these plays been performed before?.. Sydney, Melbourne, UK just to mention a few. Keep coming back to check. More will follow.

NORMALITY-CRASH TEST DRAMA November 2010
Normality was crash tested at Sydney’s Crash test drama @ Newtown Theatre in November 2010. Clare Martin (Liz) and Graham Yates (Richard) did a wonderful job as the husband and wife who are struggling to come to terms with something very serious in their life. Clare won BEST ACTRESS. My play won BEST PLAY as voted by the judges and William Russell (Director) won BEST DIRECTOR.
Well done to you all. I have to mention that GRAHAM YATES did a fantastic job as the ill Richard. Normality made it to the finals and WON!!
Graham wasn’t able to be in the finals and Alastair Buchanan took the role on as Richard. Alastair also did a wonderful job. Thank you, William, Clare, Graham and Alastair for doing such a wonderful job with such a complex and delicate script. You have all been a part of a wonderful journey and have helped in getting NORMALITY into the SHORT AND SWEET TOP 110 Sydney, February 2011 @ NIDA parade playhouse.
CATASTROPHE – Play with your food! From Aug 20th 2010 to Sept 17th 2010
Jules strikes again! What is is about a cat that makes its owner love it more than his wife? Jules is ill, he needs a new liver. Greg (hubby) wants his wife to find a suitable cat, capture it and bring it home so he can get his butcher down the road to transplant the liver into Jules. All this for only $10.000. Greg’s wife is understandably angry and hurt. Gerry Sont and Deborah Bradshaw were amazing as the husband and wife team and the play got a lot of laughs. Poor Jules..
