SHORT AND SWEET, Sydney 2011 – HERE WE COME!
I have to say how excited I am to have 3 plays in Sydney’s SHORT AND SWEET festival this year. Last year I had 2, so it’s on the up and up.
The plays are HONEY, AMICABLE RIVALS and NORMALITY
HONEY – SHORT AND SWEET – NIDA PARADE PLAYHOUSE FEB 2011. February is going to be a busy month. Just the way I prefer it. Hope to see you at the festival :)
*AMICABLE RIVALS* – NEWTOWN THEATRE FEB 2011. Directed by William Russell. Cast: Sam Atwell, Brenda Bedewi.
*NORMALITY* – NIDA FEB 2011 (Winner of CTD finals, judges’ choice) Directed by William Russell. Cast: Clare Martin, Alastair Buchanan.
CATASTROPHE – Play with your food! From Aug 20th 2010 to Sept 17th 2010
Jules strikes again! What is is about a cat that makes its owner love it more than his wife? Jules is ill, he needs a new liver. Greg (hubby) wants his wife to find a suitable cat, capture it and bring it home so he can get his butcher down the road to transplant the liver into Jules. All this for only $10.000. Greg’s wife is understandably angry and hurt. Gerry Sont and Deborah Bradshaw were amazing as the husband and wife team and the play got a lot of laughs. Poor Jules..
