Donatella PariseDona has been writing since the age of 12.  She lives in the Riverina Region and spends a lot of her time raising a family, working, writing and traveling.  Her very first piece was a novella she co-wrote with a friend in her early teens.

It wasn’t till the late 1990’s that Dona wrote her first ONE ACT play titled ‘Dining Out’. It was taken to the Stage West festival of One Act Plays where it won ‘best unpublished play’ and Dona won ‘best novice director’ at the same festival.

She has had over 25 productions of her work, Griffith, Wagga, Lithgow, Sydney, Melbourne and Los Angeles. She also writes screenplays and has attended NIDA on two occasions doing the ‘writing for TV and Film’ course and the ‘Intensive Directing Course’.

Her full length play ‘In Good Company’ was produced in Griffith at the Griffith Regional Theatre in September 09.  Cast included, Peter Leonard, Jamie McGaw, John Forster, Jacqui Halliburton, Rachel Stocks, Troy Marks, Cassandra Campbell Smith and Olivia Torresan.  Directed by Donatella and assistant director was Anita Calabria.

Donatella plans on filming a short film in January 2010.
